Finding the right Hookah is one thing, but one’s ability to set it up correctly is even more important. Smoke Alley’s Hookah is one of the most effective you will find in Houston, TX. However, you need to set it up properly to enjoy it. As you buy the best Hookah Houston offers, you must understand how to set them up. Below are the steps you should follow to set it up.

  1. Filling the Base

To enjoy your Tobacco hookah or any other type of hookah, you first need to set it upright. Start by filling the base of your Hookah with water, but be careful not to overdo it. Check the instructions on your Hookah Katy, to know how much water you must add at the base.

  1. Connect the Shaft to the Base

Put the hookah shaft over and into the base, ensuring the shaft’s bottom is submerged 1 to 2 inches under the water. The shaft needs to fit snugly and ensure it is airtight. Make sure there is a rubber gourmet between the glass hookah’s crystal base and the metal centerpiece to make the shaft fit more snuggly.

  1. Apply the Coal Tray

Put the circular tray on the Hookah’s shaft top. Use this to hold unlit or lit charcoal and excess charcoal ash.

  1. Taste your Hookah Bowl Connection to the Bowl Section

As part of your beginner hookah setup, attach the hookah bowl to the top of the metal’s midsection. Put a plastic or rubber grommet between the metal mid-section and the clay bowl. This step should be done before any tobacco or charcoal is added to our bowl. This way, you have less to worry about when testing the seal.

  1. Attach the Hose to the Hookah

For your CBD hookah to work, place the hose into the metal’s midsection with the grommet. Make sure the connection is airtight.

  1. Test the Airflow

As you set up hookah, make sure to test the airflow. First, test the setup to ensure it is airtight by putting your hand above the hookah’s bowl and attempting to suck it in through the hose. If all is okay, you’ll feel a pull at your hand and probably get to witness bubbles in the water. Failure to see any of these two occurrences means that the air is getting out through a different place, and you should be careful to figure out where.

  1. Add the Shisha to the Bowl

If the setup is tight, as it should be, this is the time to add some shisha tobacco into the bowl. Make sure to level with the rim of the clay bowl. Ensure to sprinkle the tobacco instead of packing it to ensure the airflow isn’t restricted. Just be sure not to let the tobacco level get over the bowl or overflow.

  1. Apply your Hookah Foil

Put your foil over the top of the bowl. Make sure to use the precut foil or to cut out a square or round piece of foil, approximately twice the diameter of the bowl. The idea is to make it flat as well as airtight. Also, take a sharp object like a toothpick and punch tiny holes along the top.

  1. Heat the Charcoal

If you use natural coals, put them on the stove and let them heat until they glow red. They should have a thin layer of gray ash on all sides. In case you are using quick lighting coals, go outside and use a lighter to light them. Be sure to use tongs to handle the charcoal.

  1. Apply the Heat and Have Fun

Once the charcoal is lit, please put it on the foil on top of the hookah bowl. Make sure to use tongs. If you want to enjoy a longer smoke, put the charcoal on the bowl’s edge and work it around the outside. The center of the bowl should be the last place the coal touches.

Make sure to gently press down on the charcoal and suck it in through the mouthpiece of your hookah’s hose. You may notice smoke building up inside the base, and after a few puffs, you may feel the tobacco taste in your mouth. You need to be patient and allow the charcoal to heat the tobacco.
